THE NSDPI at UVA
Established August 1, 2024
The University of Virginia launched a groundbreaking National Security Data & Policy Institute to advance research and engagement with the national security and intelligence communities.
The Institute's initial activities will center on data and intelligence deliverables already identified in partnership with Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Through this work, the Institute will develop as a durable, interdisciplinary center for security research and government engagement. Institute research teams will collaborate across Grounds, create partnerships with peer institutions worldwide, and engage outside experts across industry, government, and the non-profit sector.
In addition to the research, collaboration, and engagement agendas, the Institute will manage a post-doctoral and graduate research program, develop a virtual research environment for government/university collaboration, offer undergraduate research opportunities, and host conferences and symposia.
