Dr. Lukas Filler

Dr. Lukas Filler leads research and advises senior U.S. government leaders on the strategic logic and implications of PRC decisions. He serves as a Professor at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies and collaborates with government, industry, and academic partners. He previously served as Acting Director of USINDOPACOM’s China Strategic Focus Group and has worked with OPNAV N3/N5, JSOC, Naval Special Warfare Command, ONI, the Naval War College, and CNA. He holds a PhD from King’s College London and an MTS from Harvard, and he began his career as a P-3C naval aviator.
