Brian Lessenberry
Brian Lessenberry is a Senior National Security Fellow with nearly three decades of experience at the intersection of intelligence, strategy, and emerging technology. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Global Analysis in the Bureau of Intelligence and Research, where he led work on global threats and emerging technologies. He also served in senior leadership roles at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where he directed intelligence support to U.S. warfighters and decision-makers, and at the National Intelligence Council, where he was the National Intelligence Officer for Weapons of Mass Destruction. Now based in Charlottesville, he advises and mentors the next generation of national security leaders and innovators.
