Head of Delivery and Engagement for National Security, Databricks Federal

Andrew S. Peskin is the Head of Delivery and Engagement for National Security at Databricks Federal, where he leads a multidisciplinary team of Technical Program Managers, engineers, and data scientists delivering advanced data intelligence and AI capabilities to the Department of War and Intelligence Community. 

Prior to Databricks, Andrew served as Head of Professional Services for Federal Defense at Google Public Sector, directing Technical Program Managers and Mandiant Security Consultants across digital transformation, cybersecurity, and advanced analytics engagements for the Department of War. Earlier at Google, he orchestrated the world's first cloud migration of a real-time financial exchange, leading a multi-billion-dollar partnership across multiple organizations. During his tenure at Capital One, he served in senior leadership roles in Enterprise Data Governance, Card Business, Card Technology and Cloud Engineering, where he architected the company's first enterprise data durability program, expanded the multi-cloud footprint, and represented Capital One on NIST's National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence Advisory Board and multiple AWS Customer Advisory Boards. Andrew founded and led a FinTech firm for 25 years, pioneering the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to algorithmic trading of global derivatives. 

Andrew served as a member of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the University of Virginia Athletics Foundation and has lectured at the McIntire School of Commerce and the Darden School of Business on global trading strategies and technology modernization in national security. He began his academic career at the University of Pennsylvania in statistical computing and received his B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
